Overview

We are looking for a well-organized, detail-oriented, and personable community and events manager to build, nurture, and grow a community of Rebuy customers and prospects through a combination of offline and online events. You’ll design and implement memorable and engaging small-scale events, both in-person and online, as well as play a leading role in the planning and execution of our annual customer conference. As a member of our scrappy, tight-knit Marketing team, you’ll play a key part in shaping our community and events strategy, working cross-functionally with our Sales, Merchant Success, and Partnerships teams.

What you’ll do

  • Plan and execute a dozen or more small-scale offline and online events throughout the year, including customer dinners, happy hours, unique outings, and webinars
  • Work closely with Sales and Merchant Success to identify customers and prospects and design memorable events that engage them with the Rebuy brand
  • Own event experience and design, including content development and on-site (with assistance from Marketing and Design teammates)
  • Build and manage our entire Rebuy-owned events calendarLead or help with planning and execution of our annual customer conference and large scale sponsorship activations"
  • Handle all logistics for events, including venue sourcing and negotiation, technical set up, run of show, promotional materials, etc.
  • Collect and analyze event performance data to continually improve Rebuy’s community & event strategy
  • In partnership with Merchant Success and Partnerships, conceptualize, launch, and build and online community of Rebuy customers and partners
  • Assist with the planning and execution of other company and company-sponsored events as necessary

Required experience and mindset

  • 3 years of experience managing offline events
  • Experience developing events for B2B attendees, ideally in the ecommerce space
  • Extremely well organized
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Strong collaboration skills and excited to work across functions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment and comfortable acting with incomplete information
  • A desire to grow, learn, and try new things
  • Travel: up to 30%
